Well job hunting sucks just like always , I keep my 3 jobs update each week and that is about it . I kind wanna keep my winter open for snow wheeling and stuff but still on the look out. If i happen to find something long term down here in home town I won't do any more seasonal but that is looking hard so meh .
Yep been talkin to Kim Via Facebook. She's gettin ready to head to the Florida Keys I believe. She did ask me to say Hi to you and the wife next time I talked to you. Right now her mother just had surgery and I believe an uncle also. If your on Facebook Just look up my neame or E-mail. You can get Kim off of there too. My email is bren_n1371@yahoo.com
Believe me you don't wanna go there. its a cute little place but it is so over boring there, it makes the North Rim look like paradice. I'm not going anywhere either. I've had enough. if I do it will be maybe in a few years, but I need a break.
Reggie, did I just read right your heading to Togwotee?????? lol lol lol okkkkkkkkkkkkk. good luck! I wish I had stayed with my orrigional app and continued to apply for Alaska instead of going back to Alaska, but hey, thems the breaks. Good luck in WY.
Reggie , well I haven't got the 100% word just yet on the commitment on there part , I'm still waiting to hear back from an email on them. I'm still hoping to get the job in houskeeping either at the resort of property dunno yet. I'm still hopeing really bad tho , I've emailed them last week to check in . If you talk with the hsk manager sometime , put in a word for me . I really want a winter job , I just wish they would let me know either way by Nov at least . Its getting annoying is all .
Reggie , just got an email from copper Mountain , I won't be able to get the lift operator job ,however , they did ask if there was another job that is open I was interested in and replied to them asking about a busier or a host position . So I might of just perhaps gotten my winter job . DO u got aim or yahoo bro ? aim for me is toyotastovy or yodatheforceiswithyou add if u keep in touch .

hey, its gettin towards the end and I am thankfull for it. Between knuckleheads and rud ignorence this year I am more then happy to see the end of this season. How is Alaska going? Tell Kim I said howdy.
Hey man , everything is going smoothly up here at the NR , just been working a ton lately and drinking down at the pub etc. Hiking gets really old for me some reason so I don't I'll be coming back up here next season ( thinking Moab) Other then work and just the nightly pub hang outs not a whole lot going on here . How about u dude ?
I hope you aren't leaving Denali. But the name of the hostel is The Arctic Adventure Hostel. The owners name is Jason, he's cool. I'm sure you would have no problem getting on here in the winter, it's a ski resort. Let me know, and I'll ask around. Talk to you soon. My e-mail address is rgrubbins@hotmail.com
Yeah, the hawaii is over in Europe now and the aloha is back in the Bahamas but I worked on them both before they left. I ended up on the America- it's not what it used to be!
all i can say, was that it was pretty weird. they made us watch these videos at the beginning of the season which were just there to brainwash us. they were all about how much the club meant to the members, and how special it was.
the members were cool though. i went out on some of their boats, and hung out with some of the young crowd there. imagine a rich spoiled rotten 20 something who has always had whatever they wanted in life, and the benefits that came with that. lots of drinking, all of those kids are into drugs, but they want you to have a good time, and always pay for everything. if you need shoes to get into a club, they will buy them for you. but i was only good friends with one of the members. they encourage you to not "associate" with members, but i have heard of employees getting married to members before.
the staff was ok. they were mostly young college age kids who love to drink and go clubbing. not really my crowd, but they were friendly enough. i am also biased because i knew a lot of people there from previous seasonal jobs.
i honestly hated ocean reef, but to each is own. i enjoy mountains, not ocean. i like cold, not hot. i like dry not humid, and i like simple people rather than rich assholes. but no one ever treated me like dirt there, and if they did, my stay would have been much shorter.
