I live in Fairbanks, Alaska. I'm originally from Racine, Wisconsin. I was searching for people who were planning to drive to Alaska from Wi because I'm looking to have a box brought up. If you have any room, I'd be happy to pay you for the space in your vehicle. I can be reached here at riverbenthic @ yahoo dot com. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. -Erik
Thank you Dominic :) I am doing a little more research. I am so tired of the corporate world and being behind a desk. Great pay but I never see any of it because of so many taxes being withheld. I am ready to invest my time into something worth doing for the world and for myself. Maybe we will meet some day in the future! I will keep you updated if i get hired anywhere. I am really open to going anywhere. Have any suggestions?
thanks for the note. Anything you would recommend bringing specifically? How are the bugs? I will make it up there June 3rd I do believe. I am glad at least one person has a guitar....I couldn't bring mine up.
Dom My man! How are you? Getting excited for AK yet? The drive up the haul road will take you anywhere between 4-6hrs. I know big difference right? The important thing is to take your time. The road can get kinda crazy and rough. Important to know to slow down and move over for the trucks. I lost my driver side window to a truck and a stone so be careful! If you get a hungry there is a place called the hot spot about an hour or so up the road that has amazing burgers the size of your head and outstanding milkshakes too!
