Shelby...I do hope to meet you someday! Ahh...the level of happiness that your video provided was awesome. I did share it with a few close friends of mine...just so they can get an idea of what and why certain souls go back to Alaska. I will always be thankful. Sincerely, Judy

Hey. I saw your note about which dorm to try for at Old Faithful. It depends on if you like to party or not. The party dorm is Columbine. I worked there last summer and lived in Larkspur, which was the nicest. It was a 24 hour quiet dorm with private bathrooms. Just a warning, the food is horrible.

Cool. Really all that I need is a statement about your favorite spot n the USA. Why its so cool, what there is to do around there, and maybe some neat activities? My website is outdoortravellife.com and it should be ready at the end of the week. Thank you very much for your help.

I am going to OF snow lodge on April 23. I am going to be in house keeping. When are you going and what location and job did you get? If you want you can email me at Perkinsgary1954@aol.com

Hey Shelby,
The only place in Old Faithful that has 3 people per room is Columbine Dorm. So you won't have to have 4 or 5. Old Faithful is the busiest, so, more people to meet. It's going to depend, though, on what job you get, your availability dates, as to where in the Park you go. Sometimes they ask where you'd like to be and sometimes they don't. Each location has good things about it. Enjoy!

I am still looking, where are you thinking of going?

I found out about the Yellowstone Degree program when at the pre-season meeting for all location employees it was mentioned...and more information can be had at the Recreation Hall or Rec Dept. Plus, on your own as well, visiting the visitor's center(s) there, there are a lot of great books on all sorts of Yellowstone and related subjects. I highly recommend a stop at the Canyon Visitor's center; it has the BEST bookstore of any of them! It's very easy to self-educate in Yellowstone :)
