Hey Lady! I love your photos! Looks beautiful and cold. What do I wear and how is the weather?
I am leaving Pittsburgh on the first of August. How much have I missed not leaving sooner? Planning to take some time to explore, in late Sept look for a job for the winter. I have a camper and will use that as home base until then.
i am a skier and really look forward to being near the mountain for this winter. This is my first time in Alaska and am not too sure what to expect weather wise. I hear it is a wet summer this year. I love the outdoors cold and hot. Just waiting to leave...!!!!

Change my head for the good? I am planning on being there around June 1st. I am not sure which one they were talking about, but he said it was close to downtown...because I was worried about transportation.
where are you going Anchorage? What hostel were they talking about, as i stayed at one and visited two others. There are still jobs here if you can get here by june 4th. Or if you come to anchorage I am sure you could get a job done here in a month after some folks leave. When are you gonna come up here with them? Congrats on coming up here, it will change your head fast!
Hi Julie,
I had been to most of the places at the Western US but too bad not to Yellowstone yet. You can view my blog at http://traveljournalism.blogspot.com/ which captures nice photos of the places I had been and you might be interested to visit too. Cheers, David T.
I don't thank so, most places hire a lot of college students that can't leave until then anyways. And then you have people that don't show up for there Job as planned or leave right away...so you should see opening's again around that time. I would just start applying as soon as possible. Anywhere in particular that you would like to be in Alaska?
