Salt Lake City is a city in a valley. There are tones of canyons to explore. However Southern Utah is where the Jobs are at. Southern Utah is cool. it has the most national parks in an area than anywhere in the WORLD!! Zion, bryce, arches, lake Powell. Southern Utah is so great. It would be especially awesome with a car. You could see all of it.
Sorry I missed you this summer. I decided to stay in Utah this summer because I make better money here. WHat are your plans for after the summer. How is going there?
The summertime is wonderful inAlaska...it almost makes the brutual winter worth it. Right now it is HOT in Fairbanks, 75 degrees and the sun is beating down on all us pale people. Denali should be a little cooler since it's about 3000 ft higher than Fbx but it should be a pretty warm summer. As it gets into August and esp Setpember it will cool down a lot at night so do make sure you have both warm and cool clothes. I am bringing everything with me, haha. This current weather is confusing me on how I should pack. But I am REALLY excited and hear great things about Crows Nest. You said you arriving the 18th?
Awesome. That's why I love this website. It gives you the tools to meet future co-workers. Yeah I'll be there on the 18th as well. I am really excited for the summer, it's such a beautiful area. It's going to be a lot of fun for sure.
Yea I just heard about that actually! That's pretty crazy. I read that they were canceling the flights to Anchorage and telling people to stay inside because the ash was so bad! Alaska is a beast huh lol
That's cool. Yea I'm about 20 minutes from New Port Richey. I didn't even realize there was a parade goin on lol. But anyways hopefully we'll get to meet up once we both get up there! I can't wait to meet everyone that I've met on this website.
That sounds awesome. I'm scheduled to be there on May 10th, but I'm probably going to head up a couple of days earlier to break up the travel time. I'm from Florida as well, how far are you from the Clearwater are?
Hey Robert! I'm doing great, really looking forward for the summer! I'm going to be working at the McKinley Chalet Resort as a hostess. This is my first time doing a seasonal job and ever going to Alaska, but I am definitely excited and just can't wait to get up there! Is this your first time in Alaska?
Brad told met that they will pay for half the train, he told me to expect it to be around 50 bucks. I'd give him a call once you have all your other arrangements made and he'll help ya out.
Hey man! Just got a job at the Crow's Nest in Maintenance and just thought I'd say what's up, and I'm looking forward to a great Danali Summer. Drop me a line sometime. I think I'm going out on the 2nd of may,,, not sure yet.
