hello, soon-to-be-fellow housekeeper. looks like we're riding from the airport to mpl together...two questions:
1.) do you know how long of a drive it is?
2.) how excited are you?
CHEESY is one of my favorite ways to be.
I'm always good-attituded.. if that's a word... haha.
I can barely function waiting for May to leave my hometown and go to ALASKA. That's one thing I need help with... how to NOT be so excited for Alaska that it's all I talk about and driving my pals here in my hometown nuts. : )
Well, If you are in the housekeeping part of the lodge.. and are going back.. and you liked it.. I'm sure I will enjoy my time as well.
I pretty much figured that doing the laundry every day all day could possibly be a bit routine and hectic... but I think it would fit me quite well. I'm a really hard worker and almost always get along with coworkers, especially when in a contained room with the same ones daily.
Letting us listen to tunes would def be a perk!
Hi, I got hired on at the Mt. McKinley Princess lodge with Jessica M. Thought talking to another employee who has already worked there would help out with my expectations. I'm very excited.
I still work at the McKinley Princess. I love it. It is a great place to work for the summer. I have some pics on my site that were taken at the lodge. The view is amazing. Good access to Talkeenta as well so you can enjoy a great Alaskan town. What jobs are you and your friend doing this summer? Do you have any specific questions that I can help you with?
