I did work at the chalet. As for the food, sometimes they have a vegan dish along with the other dishes. They always have the salad bar.
As for the weather in May, it's kinda cool but not cold/hot. Too me it's was just fine. I usually wore a light jacket. As the summers goes it warms up. Sometime you can go out in a t-shirt and shorts. Beginning in Aug and through Sept you will need a jacket. Maybe a coat at night is you plan on looking at the northern lights.
I've worked there for the past 2 summers. This summer i was going to go back to there but plans changed. So Im heading to yellowstone this summer. Any questions about the place just ask.
