So Sassy are you packed and ready to go.. I keep reading all the posts here.. also from other yellowstoners..... sounds like there is still a lot of snow.. it has finally melted in town here... yet still brisk with rain... mountains have loads... today I am off.. yesterday was too... hanging out in town.. at the Sea Bean cafe.... trying out all the haunts to see what I like best... they all have wi-fi.. and are all different.. anyway, hope all is well.
No I was supposed to , but they called and asked if I could work at Lake yellostone instead....but im sure we will be in the same training class..also i will be working the 10-pm to 6a.m shift.
Did you work at ys last year???
Thanks Shannon. I've never been to Yellowstone. I heard its awesome. I worked Mt. Rainier last year. I walked right next door to get to work. But I like to hike so the half mile hike won't be a problem. How do you like Old Faithful?
The buildings are a bit odd looking. I worked at Grant last year and am currently working at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge. I'm not sure where I'm working this summer. I think you'll like it at Grant. It is one large dorm with the rec area in the middle. It is about a half a mile walk to work. Make sure you have a flashlight so you don't run into any elk. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
