Lisa Menezes replied to Denise Evans's discussion Need help/thoughts on resume/applications
"Since seasonal jobs are short-term, the lack of long-term jobs on your resume shouldn't be a problem at all. I've never stayed at a job consecutively for longer than nine months, and that never seems to bother seasonal employers. It's…"

"Unless it's changed since the 2011-2012 season, Winter Park Resort has single rooms for some employees at the hotel across the street, but since it's hotel style there are no cooking facilities, and there is no meal plan. I think they cost…"

Julien Hass replied to Lisa Menezes's discussion Anyone been to an Aspen Snowmass job fair?
"I worked there for 2 seasons-winter 2012/13 and summer 2013.  The local restaurants are a bit tough, but not impossible at all to get into if you have some experience.  Otherwise the resort will be hiring all the time!  it's a…"

Anyone been to an Aspen Snowmass job fair?

Hi! I was wondering if anybody here has been to a job fair at Aspen and if you have, do most people who show up get a job or is it pretty hard to get a job there?See More

Thanks, I was thinking of being on board manager, however, am a qualified bartender and server. While tips are great there just seems to be more security as a manager and a few more perks. I guess specifically my questions were about how the company treats its people, if there was as much work as the hours they stated one would be working (which seemed kinda harsh!), and how housing worked out for you. Anyway, whatever you could tell me would be great. Thanks!
