Silvia Cardoso

temporary work visa

I'm Brazilian and I would love to spend some time in Alaska, but although they say the accept foreigners none of the companies want to help you with the red tape work, and I'm not a student anymore. I just want a cross cultural experience and without the help of the employers it is pratically impossible to get a temporary work visa. Can anyone help me?

This is a tricky and ever-changing area. Visas are not our area of expertise here but we have some info online here. Many of those agencies listed specialize in the tricky world of Visas.

Anyone else out there have any insights?

Thansk Bill, one of the websites deals with H2B visas, let's see what happens, and let's see if I can sell myself to the company I want to work for,
regards and thank you again, Silvia

thanks for your answer. The problem is in my case I'm interested in the H2B visa and I've already contacted them, but they can't help me much. The H2B visa is for seasonal work only. regards,
Silvia

We used Aspire Worldwide and we very satisfied with both their work and with the number and quality of applicants.
We had no complaints from the J-1 Employees we hired concerning Aspire.
