Anyone Familiar with the Iroquois on Mackinac?

I was offered a Server position at the Iroquois this summer and I am extremely excited. What is it like on Mackinac in the summer? If anyone can gimme the scoop on the island or the Iroquois or both, that would be great.

thanks

Mackinac is huge on partying. HUGE.... It is also one of the busiest spots in Michigan (excellent $$$$) although I don't personally know about the business @ Iroquois. You can save a large chunk if you want to and still enjoy yourself. I would be prepared to work a lot because of the business load.

There are no cars, excluding cops, ambulance, etc. so the mode of transport is bike or walk. Watch out for the horse "stuff" on the street because bad bike accidents happen as a result (personal experience). If you drive to Mackinac, you will have to pay for parking off the island, which can be expensive so be aware...

I have a couple friends that work at the worked at the Iroquois last year and are again this year. They loved every bit of it and when I went up to visit all we did was have fun and party. They are actually both servers so chances are you will meet them and from the sounds of it they made quite a bit of money last year.
