Hey John-So I'm getting a little more familiarized with the area around Summit Lodge, but wanted to see what someone else had to say, who's worked there in the past. I'm asking the owner some similar questions, but as an employee, I'm sure your views are a little different!..sorry for all the questions, but here goes!

First, did you have a car to get around? If not, how was the transportation...how did you get around, did you get to many places? The owner said that a lot of people go to a car auction and buy a car for the season up there. Any suggestions?

How about the size of the cabins, with 4 people in them? I'm bringing a day pack, backpack, and a suitcase...how is storage/space?

What about food? I know there are some places in Cooper Landing/Moose Pass but did you just eat at the lodge?

What is there to do around the lodge on days off? I know the lake is right there, but does the property have anything like a kayak or canoe?

Is it easy to get away on days off or did you find yourself stuck around the lodge?

What was the general age of the employees at the lodge? Were they primarily from the US or was there a lot of cultural diversity?

If you think of anything you could share about your experiences there, it would be great! Any information is good information! Thanks John and I hope you have a great summer!

I like Muay Thai also, but re-injured my shoulder while punching the bag so I can't practice it anymore. Any ideas on how I can still effectively practice with a bad shoulder? It was broken a long time ago and never got fixed, but I miss Muay Thai. Thanx for any suggestions...

Thanks for the down low man. I've done the website surfing checking out most of the stuff in the area, but it's good to have independent review. I'll get back at you when we get specific. Look forward to meeting you.
