Life can be funny.

I'm a man of God and have been for sometime now, one who has chosen to listen to his requests. The request of following his will. This is something I dont talk about often nor do I often share such feelings with others, however I find it time to share what I have been doing out here in Montana. I have had several promotions with-in the company starting in a lowly postion of pure hatred and depression to a postion that was fun and joyful with a good boss, though the job was still not what I wan… Continue

Sorry for not responding. I've been stuck at fork in my life and I'm rather confused. however working for gunflint outfitters was a blast, they are great people working up there. Though due to the young crowed and teh fact most people are working some issues out in thier lives (not bad) but still most are in a "party" mode of life. The hiking isnt as good as im sure it was when you were there last, the recent fire's sadly have wiped out much of the boundry water beauty. lots of trials to hike still, just sadly its all very burnt. AK was AWESOME, I have been given an oppertunity here in Montana for a year round job that could go career! Alaska is still calling and I plan on talking to my boss soon to tell him im going to go ahead and continue to follow my heart.

I could type for hours, but im going to stop here; I've been up for many many hours and it's time for sleep :)

how did you like Gunflint outfitters? Did you like the Boundary Waters area? It's been years since I've been there, but I hear the hiking is good there. I like how you said you were lost in life. I think all of us find ourselves in that position from time to time. I'm going through one of those times now. I've been applying in WY, CO, and MT for a good winter job. Fargo is not what I am looking for. I'm from the Lakes area in MN. I grew up on a farm and it will forever be home, but Fargo doesn't have a lot going on. I crave the mountains and the wilderness. I see you were in Denali for a season. I have yet to venture there. I would like to work in Girdwood, AK for a while. It seems like a place that would blend well with my interests. The lower 48 is a ways from the Last Frontier. Did you drive up there when you worked there? Did you like AK? It'd be great to hear your thoughts.
