About Me:: I love to travel. I like the outdoors- despite the fact that I'm quite pale. My family is awesome and I wouldn't trade them for anyone elses. I love the friends that I have, and I also love making new ones. Laughing is one of my favorite activities. Music is my cure for just about everything (except the common cold). I love randomness and adventure. Oh yeah... I'll be serving at Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge this summer!

I will be leaving here (Tahoe area) on May 15..I have to be to work by May 20 at Summit Lake Lodge (about 20 miles from Gwin's) Anyhow, I've been talking to a few others at Gwin's...if anything, I can let you know when we will be doing some climbing....I'm sure you can borrow a harness of someone not climbing/belaying. And if you like it enough, harnesses are about $50 at REI in Anchorage. Shoes...eh, to each his own! We've been known to climb barefoot!

Been going out in the evenings to various places around the area, went up to see your place up close the other night. Smaller than I would have thought, but it looks really nice. You are going to be a lot closer to "town" than I. Stuff is really expensive here, beer is all around 11 bucks a six pack even for crappy beer. Cigarettes are 7 dollars a pack if you smoke. But the town and locals are all laid back and very nice. Going to be a great time this summer. Hope your planning is going well, and see you soon!
