After 3 years back in my hometown I am ready to get back out there.   I am really itching to go back to Alaska.  It may be getting close to the season but I am confident as there a lot of jobs still out there.  After living in Coldfoot  (Arctic), Fairbanks, and Anchorage, I am excited to check out Juneau and the beautiful Kenai area.  WHO'S COMING WITH ME???  Are you going to the beautiful great state of AK?

My name is Larry and I am an addict to the seasonal scene. How is everyone doing on this pre- new years eve? Hope everyone has a great day tommorow.

49 days left of my summer at AWA.  56 days until I start on St. John, USVI.  Talking with Deer Valley for winter.

3 weeks left of the current season, then it's a quick start for season #15.  And I'm narrowing down the next.  In part depends on a possible month of October in Virgin Islands.  The 5 favorite outlooks for #16...Loon Mountain in NH, Stovepipe Wells (CA), Copper Mountain (CO), Grand Canyon South Rim-DNC (AZ), and Vail Resorts in Vail (CO).  Might let myself get talked into Alyeska, it's just that it's too close to my summer gig and I like to feel the change.  A double check of my budget might also mean a stab at volunteering in Camp Erdman with the YMCA of Honolulu.

have you heard anything about MT. Rainier?

I've read a lot of stuff and not good ether. Wi-Fi sucks, no cell service, management sucks, 1 shower for 25 people.

I'm trying to figure out if I can make any money as a server?

I hear the dorms suck too.

Just looking for some 411.

Got my application in for the job I really want.  Hope to go back to Princess but work on the train this summer. Hopefully I will get to see more of Alaska, keeping my fingers crossed.

Its about that time that employers are starting to look at applicants for the summer gigs.  Update your resume and start looking for those jobs.  Apply in January and you won't be looking for a job at the last minute. Good Luck!
