I burst out laughing at your comments about Sol Duc!  I've experienced similar at my seasonal jobs over the years.  I have applied to Sol Duc before but never heard anything back--which is a blessing I suppose.  I'm so sorry to hear about your working conditions.  Sadly, many of those front desk jobs are highly stressful for all the obvious reasons: dealing with the general public, lots of nit picky tasks to do at a rapid pace, and the usual hassles with admin and co-workers.   Of course the worst thing is--after putting up with such awful conditions--you are handed a paycheck that barely covers your expenses.  I know that those who hire us seasonals believe they are offering a wonderful experience at a beautiful location, but sometimes the natural setting just  isn't enough to balance out the misery.  I've walked away from 2 jobs and was glad I did.  Please keep us posted on how things turn out.  Take care!  Jim
