I wasn't hip to mile marker 17, rivers change through the years. Ill never forget laying on a picnic table looking up when a helicopter flew over with a outhouse hanging from it, for some reason it struck me as funny. Did you hear the story about the guy who must have been snorkeling in Fish lake, during a fire they were scooping water with a helicopter and apparently scooped him up. They didn't know it happened then, but years later they found his bones with snorkel, wedged in a tree found by some hikers. Yes Akerman was one of them, and the one my brother was on grass something tou could see one lookout from the other, one year I was there the two people manning them for the summer got married at the end of the summer, and flew over tiller on honeymoon and threw out a gazillion balloons.

Well isn't that coincidental, I'm living in St louis Mo. right now, but did go out there for a couple weeks 2006. I couldn't hardly believe it when i seen a casino in Canyonville. I guess you went swimming up at the falls, theirs a fish ladder there. do you remember the name of the falls. I ran into a cub bear running down the trail to fish lake, Knocked us both down and the wind out of me. he just got up shook his head and trotted off. know one would believe me. My brother was a spotter on, I want to say grass hopper tower but it don't sound right, Its been a long time.

You have a great future ahead of you, We called it the fire suppression crew at tiller district at tiller Oregon up the north Umpqua river, In 1971 we lived there on the compound in a bunkhouse, two of the greatest summers I ever had, I still have opportunity now and then to reminisce a story to someone. The national park service doesn't list there jobs on coolworks but they use summer help as well, they would love you at Tetons NP Its closer to Jaskson than Yellowstone.

A social network for those who want to compare and share their work and life experiences in great places.
