I am a junior at The Ohio State University. I'm majoring in Speech and Hearing Sciences to one day be a Speech Pathologist. I love to help people which gave me the passion to become a Speech Pathologist. I also love the outdoors, hiking, camping, and snowboarding. It is my dream to move out west and to travel to every National Park!

I noticed you left a comment on the Olympic National Park/Sol Duc group about working in Kalaloch-- I'm hoping to work there this summer with my husband (not 100% sure about it yet, but pretty sure)... just wanted to say "hi" in case we end up working together this summer. :)
Actually Kalalock was like the ONE area I didn't really investigate, but honestly I don't think you can really go wrong anywhere in that area, and if your job sucks you can always slip down to Lake Crescent Lodge, that's where I worked, they hire pretty regularly all year, and it was awesome right there on the lake, they have good rooming, and they've completely changed their management so it should be good this year from what I hear.
Be sure to check out Sequim when the strawberries ripen towards July.
Fourth of July is best at Neah Bay, on the Indian Reservation, where you'll most likely see a few eagles fly through.
And any day is perfect for 2nd beach (which in my opinion is the most gorgeous of all of'em).
And you can always camp out at Fairholme at the lake, it's a small fee (reduced for park workers) and the weekdays aren't very full of ppl, plus there's all the hiking trails.
