Just Otterly precious fantabulous

Wow we have been so blessed with incredible weather here in Whittier the last few days, unbelievable... hello I thought I was in Alaska and not California.. all kidding, what a blessing, as living in a Northern Temperate rainforest where it rains 80% of the time, the last few days have peaked @ around 70... pushing that a bit, beautiful blue skies with a few patchy clouds.. hey maybe I should be a weather forecaster..lol.. right...

Volunteering your time in the off Season

I have been on break this winter so to say.  I chose to travel this winter and do some volunteer work abroad in Mexico and Guatemala. I spent four months all together in both countries and had an amazing time.  I volunteered for an Animal Shelter in Mexico as well as a Wildlife Sanctuary in Guatemala.  I always try to be inventive when it comes to ideas to create more income when I travel.  Even though I am new to it still,…

ROLLOVER BEARTOVEN, ADVENTURES IN KATMAI NATIONAL PARK WITH THE BEARS

Kenai is the place

Living and working in Kenai Fjords (aka Seward alaska) is getting better and better. By far the best seasonal experience I have had, and the perks are incredible. I have been on numerous wildlife boat trips, and this week I am staying at our Wilderness Lodge on Fox Island. Out in the middle of Resurrection Bay ( actually a Fjord) we have a remote wilderness lodge. 8 cabins and… Continue

Greetings to everyone from the land of the Midnight Sun

Well it is almost a midnight sun here... getting dark around 11pm right now.. So far we have sunshine about every other day. One day snow, one day sun.. then clouds come back for some rain and maybe more snow. More and more Whales are returning to their summer feeding grounds and the wildlife population is growing at leaps and bounds. I wanted to wish everyone out there who is about to embark either on their first seasonal adventure, or make a return to an old haunt. The adventure continues and… Continue

Busily learning all our Tour packages getting prepped for the first rush in early May... Packing in all the information, so I will… Continue
