Thanks for being here! The six of us at CoolWorks welcome you and wish you success in finding your Jobs in Great Places®!

Things are going good here, the air conditioning is working wonderfully.

Its supposed to be 101 on Sunday.

Its all about getting out in the morning, or later in the evening. The Virgin River still feels cold.

I've been making short videos for youtube, posting on my http://brawnyview.blogspot.com/

Brawnyview Blogg,

and just learning about One Day At a Time. ODAT. I think that must be the seasonal workers creed.

The people here are pretty amazing, from all walks of life. Amazingly, very few females. Lots of the Thai people returning home this month. Some sad goodbyes exchanged, especially by young lovers. Like the Y2K thing, couldn't ya see this coming?

Our Memorial Weekend went fine, and its the lull before the July 4th Storm, I'm thinking. I'm training a new EDR cook, he's moving up from the dish pit, if all goes well. I hope all goes well, cause I want skills on the Line.

It is slower at CoolWorks now that most of us are working at Cool Places. Touch base with me, friends, if you can.

Hi Marielle, just go online and apply. Call HR, they are great people, and talk to David Johnson. As the summer progresses, there's openings if you are flexible. I am working on the Line now, and loving it. True, its fast paced, maybe "harder" some say. But, I love it. Its all guys, but last night they told me I'm officially one of the guys.

I'm earning my stripes!

Thanks for the word from Zion Carol. I love that place but haven't been there in the heat of summer. It's still nice and cool up in Yellowstone. We wouldn't mind just a bit of sun.

A social network for those who want to compare and share their work and life experiences in great places.
