Are "Soul Mates" real?  Is there someone out there who is that perfect individual that complements you in every imaginable way? A person you feel like you have known your entire life even though you may have just met?  A person you simply can't be around too much, because you simply love to be around this person no matter the circumstances be they good or bad?  Does everyone get an opportunity to find their "Soul Mate" in this life or is it a rare and precious exception for a very lucky few?

Interesting questions.

Thanks for the note Ann!  I was really lucky to find a new friend at Mesa Verde who felt like hanging out with me during the summer.  It really made a huge difference and the summer was a ton of fun :)  hopefully this will happen again in the future, but it may have been a one time experience (who knows).  It's been an "EPIC" summer for me.

Hey  Ranger Rick, I have been searching for that soul mate all over the place.  So far, no much but I firmly believe there is someone out there is very similar to me in likes and dislikes.  Hope you have a great season.  My barge leaves in two weeks for four months.  My season is starting.   Happy days to you.

As you may have guessed I met a great new friend at Mesa Verde. It baffles me how similar we are :) Blue eyes, same likes/dislikes, same blood type ... the list goes on and on.  It's scary.  Most importantly we both love to hike and camp, and love the outdoors.  We have really enjoyed sharing our summer so far :)  I was in Alaska in 2013 in Denali and had a magical summer there.

I don't know if soul mates are real but I sure would like to find out.  The fun thing about working here in Denali is all the wonderful people that you get to meet.  A group came into the shop where I am working the other day and cheered when they saw my IDAHO sweatshop.  It is so fun meeting all these wonderful people and enjoying Alaska.

A social network for those who want to compare and share their work and life experiences in great places.
