Hey Anne! I just read a post by Rick Peterson, the manager at Princess. He said they are working on returning employees at the moment and will be doing the bulk hiring and all next month. Are you in the MPL Group? Join it and see if there is anything on there. I will also check it out. I did get a call from one of the managers and she is calling Tues to interview me for gift shop. Not my first choice, but I also applied for this one and it should be a great position and alot of fun. If I get any info I will pass it on asap!

Hey Anne!  I'm sure you are right about the call.  I'm just not very patient when it comes to waiting on calls when they say they will call by a certain time and don't!  It's just aggravating!  I'm also sure you will get through the second interview and have a choice to make.  I've been told the rail is a great place to work, but it also has some long hours and I think you have to find a place to live in Anchorage.  If so, alot of people find a place to share so the expenses are affordable.  Hoping to have the opportunity to meet you and Aggie in AK.

Hey Anne!  Have you heard anything from AK?  We are anxiously waiting for that interview phone call.   Still hate the waiting but not much I can do about that.

Hey Anneliese,

Wasn't I with you when you took the pictures of the elk in Yellowstone?

Back in the Day ( way Back ) I would have been finished by song 6 - this is a green project by the way - I'm going to grind down the nails and sacrifice some router bits in order to re - mill the tongue and groove . Yes, back when I had hair ( I'm the tall guy on R in my profile photo ) I would be done , sipping a nice glass of sweet tea - but I wouldn't get to hear this music either -

Thank you Anneliese,

I think I'm used to the cold now. I don't wear long johns anymore. ;o)

It got down to minus 32 a couple of weeks ago, but now it average about 20-30*F during the day, and -10*F to 10*F above during the nights.

But, I like it, I'm getting to enjoy some outdoor activities I've never been able to do. Cross country skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling. And I'll upload those pics later. Hope all is well with you, and Happy Holidays!!! :o)

Anneleise- I have a few years on you as I will be 65 in a few months but I am not ready to retire yet even if I could. I am planning to working for as long as I can, hopefully, going back and forth between Nat. Park jobs in the summer and ski resort jobs in the winter. Terry
