Thanks again Aggie. Why Aggie are you a Texas A&M fan? I'll just keep watching the entries in Jobs USA. I never see one for Yellowstone my feeling is that current employees fill up all those request wiht transfers.
Hi Aggie, sounds like you are having a great time. I hope your whole summer is a great experience. I'm thinking about trying it next summer. I am retiring at the end of this year. Did you just scan the USjobs web page and find your Park Ranger job that way?
Hi Aggie! Sorry it took me so long to accept your friend request. I am on here everyday, and just noticed it today. I can tell you love your job - I'm so jealous. I have thought about applying with a National Park - maybe as a Visitor Use Assistant, but isn't it really difficult to get a job? I think about changing jobs EVERY DAY. I'm trying to get myself in a better financial situation. If I just didn't own a condo that was sooooo...underwater. I don't want to look back down the road and regret that I didn't make a career change. I'm heading to Yellowstone/Grand Tetons next Friday (6/10).
I don't know why I am only now seeing the comment you left on my profile back in December, but I have seen more than just Florida and Tennessee. I have been all over the west and would love to work out there eventually but at the current moment I feel God is calling me to work in Tennessee.
thank you Ranger it means alot to me. I took the job in LV in human resources and she would have loved that. Come to Vegas, I will buy u one of them huge blue drinks that they light on fire
I do have news Ranger, not good news either. They found the body of a deceased female in the area where my friend Kelly went missing. They haven't made a positive identification. I'm sure the local sheriff knows, she has lived in that town all her life. The feds were called in and have charged her x-husband with assault and kidnapping. www.nbcmontana.com and her name is Kelly Dube-Woodard.
Hope it is temporary. The same thing happened when I went North last year. Was waking up at 4 am, but it was 8 am my local time, so I was really sleeping late (does that make sense?) But it was great, cause it was like I had the whole place to myself with no one around. Security and the front desk were the only other live bodies and didn't run into them much.
Good to see you made it through the surgery ok , I bet it was the sat tv or was it the stir sticks ? My hernia surgery was a few years ago when a testicle snapped loose and played pinball around my gut . Ouch !
