Hi Rick Peterson, I am a new hire at McKinley Princess, this year and am full of questions. Saw that you had done a list of what to bring as far as clothes and stuff for our rooms and was wondering if you could post it again for us newbees. Am so looking forward to getting there and meeting everyone. Also saw on an e-mail that there is not tv's in the rooms but that there are rentable ones for our use? If so how do we rent one? Hey thanks for any info and hopefully we will meet during the summer. Thanks again Pam
Thank you Rick for putting up all of the pictures of the lodge and employee areas. It really helps put a visual to everything and it makes me excited to come up for the season. Is there any way you could put up some housing pictures? Thanks -Danny Lorentzen
Plans changed just a bit. My wife is not going to be coming to Alaska this summer because of health problems with her parents.
I applied for jobs with Princess at Denali and Kenai fairly early. I have received a letter of intent from Princess Denali Transportation for the shuttle/trolley driver job. Looking forward to starting training in Fairbanks April 1.
Look forward to meeting you in person sometime during the summer.
Rick, I am probably way behind but I heard a rumor that you were no longer at Princess McKinley. True? If so, what are you doing now?
We are still planning to apply for the 2011 season...just waiting for time to send in an application.
I still read your entries about things to do/not do, etc., with interest. It could be the start of a great guide book for seasonal employees!!
I've totally decided I want to do it. It's just a matter of convincing my parents at this point. My mom seems cool with it, but she said my dad's not totally sure about it and may need more convincing.
