About Me:
I envy people that can seem to make traveling and adventure look so easy. I am 25 and grew up and live just ouside of Boston, MA. There is nothing tying me down here but I still feel stuck. I am very capable and hope to find some work the includes housing in places Ive never been.
Last Seasonal Job:

Favorite Seasonal Job:
I work for a company in the Summer that paints athletic fields.

Hi John. You can check USAJOBS.gov for government jobs in the Parks. If you see something interesting go ahead and apply and see what happens. It might take a while and many tries before you get a job offer, so don't get discouraged. Once you get hired by a Park it is much easier to return later if you do a good job. For Alaska jobs look on Coolworks. There are jobs with affordable housing, but you may need to arrange your own meals. Generally you must pay for room and board out of your wages.....very few places include this without charge. As for getting to Alaska, the quickest and cheapest is flying there. I drove there but it cost around $3,000 round trip from Texas. The advantage was I had my truck with me all summer. Good luck...time to go do something exciting :) Ranger Rich
